Associate Artist
ISH develops longer-term contracts with a number of invited artists: we call these our Associate Artists. The selection of artists happens organically and is filled as needed.
Below are a number of possible trajectories at ISH:
- Spending a longer period with ISH in an artistic-organizational capacity.
- As a choreographer for a full-length performance.
- With a two-year research and production trajectory offered by the New Makers Pathway initiative provided by the Performing Arts Fund, and with support from ISH.
Our current Associate Artists are Dietrich Pott.
Dietrich Pott has a long history as a dancer with ISH and was co-director of the 2018 production of Junglebook in Suriname. In 2021 he devised a short performance for the ISH Open Nights – in the same year he worked for ISH as artistic director/founder of the Amsterdam Breaking Community. Dietrich has been following the two-year New Makers trajectory since 2022.
